A Little About me

Hey there! I’m Alen, a UX/UI designer who strives to build interfaces to help improve people’s lives. I believe design is more than just wireframes and pushing pixels, but about understanding people at a fundamental level. Great designs, starts with an empathetic approach understanding the problem and the people involved, through research, before coming up with a solution.

I graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a Business Economics Degree. I found myself in a sales role where I worked closely with the general public. Throughout my time working, I found myself wanting a career that was more than just meeting sales goals, I wanted to make an impact on people’s lives. I had this desire of wanting to utilize my creative passion to not only create something that looks beautiful, but also serves a core functional purpose. After this realization, I did a lot of self-reflection, and it was because of my passion for technology, art, design, and psychology that has led me to where I am today.

Aside from my passion for design, I am a motorcyclist, photographer, animal lover, backpacker, music listener, and more.

I’m always open to new opportunities and the chance to meet new people! Feel free to drop me a line and let’s change the world one design at a time!
